I saw Daughters play a show with Russian Circles back in 2008. Russian Circles was all about dynamics; subtle melodic parts mixed with crushing heaviness. In short, my mind was ****ing BLOWN. Daughters, however, was the complete opposite. Every song was angular, jagged, and flat-out deranged. Nonetheless, I found their set every bit as compelling. Thanks to Amoeba for recognizing artists who exist on the outer fringes. IMO, this is the best clip of the series.
