I Love how straight you speak! If you find it useful you could speak about diet especially if it makes more sense to eat in surplus or rather try to cut excessive fat with calorie deficit. Or does it even matter as much as people think? And what about supplementation?

makes sense to spend more time and effort on pushing hard and progressing exercises more specific to planche like banded planche, planche progresisons and leans over other exercises

The exercise you showed when you were talking about the zainetti flys is frontal raises, zainetti flys are done on the ground or layed on a bench

normal , the pression should not be focused on biceps , but proportionally distributed all along the arm

I think biceps curls could be injury prevention, many powerlifters do it just as injury prevention. when they do the deadlift as well as in the planche biceps have only role as stabilizator. as well as planchers and powerlifters, I see that most of the crashes are torn biceps becose they don t do any biceps exercises. Am i wrong ???

Je viens de voir un vidéo de Daniel Hristov, les champions du monde Calisthenics qui dit tout le contraire en relation au curl biceps, C’est important pour gagner de la force et aussi la rétraction et protraccion scapulaire alors pourquoi il est le meilleur du monde ? Si il a recommandé ses exercices et le fait tout les semaines

Avec tout le respect due, c'est un ami et très bon athlete. C'est facile de dire et répéter ce que tout le monde dis, et tout le monde peut dire des bêtises, quel que soit le niveau. Meilleur du monde en Freestyle n'est pas meilleur du monde en planche très loin de la, il n'a pas la moitie de la force du top 5 planche, et autant il est et sait qu'il est le meilleur en freestyle, autant il sais très bien qu'il n'est pas dans le top planche, ce n'est pas une critique mais une observation objective. Pour finir la protraction n'a absolument aucun rapport avec ces exercices, la protraction est une consequence de la gestuelle de l'epaule, on progresse de ce point de vue la en travaillant l'aspect technique pas au travers des exercices basiques inutiles qui n'ont rien a voir.

Salut Valentin, super vidéo ! Juste petite question : dans ton programme planche V2, programme adaptatif à chaque personne, tu mets dans les exercices possibles pour le début : Zannetti fly. Donc c’est juste pour le début, pour ceux qui ont du mal à faire des Tuck ?

oui uniquement a la step 1 , qui n'inclut meme pas de tuck planches ou autres planche basics. Comme je dis dans cette videos ce ne sera utile que pour les gens qui ne peuvent rien faire d'autre

who care when the context is completely different , they periodise in different phases their progression, they dont try to keep their level and evolve the whole year , they begin 10-15 years before us , they dont do volume , we do 3x more different powermoves , i can't continue for a long time giving example , to resume , its just not the same sport , and either the same process .

most of gymnasts are weak , the average level of calisthenics is much higher. You simply base your judgement on elite gym athletes. + the guys you see at Olympics , began at 4-9 years old, they take many years to get a basic level, they prepare specifically to be on pike performance on special dates , they don't try to evolve rapidly and to stay at high level all year . Most calisthenics athletes begin much later, want to learn much faster, we dont do only 3s iso and a few power moves, but high volume combinations including variants, transitions and power moves that don't exist in gym + we work on bad , pbars , groud and rings. Comparing Gym and calisthenics is like comparing BBQ and sushis , sure it is food , sure it is cooked , but it's really not the same.
