Most jokes don't work if you reveal the punchline beforehand. This joke really only works because he did reveal the punchline first. Brilliant.

A comic genius. He even takes a moment to smoke before delivering the punchline. He actually gives the audience a few seconds to recall the punchline...and they still don't. Damn what an artist at work.

I saw him live several years ago near my hometown in Maine. We don’t get a lot of famous artists, let alone the GOAT of comedy, here so when my friend and I heard he was coming , we got tickets. He did that punch line joke at the show and we all laughed and he said” I don’t even need to finish the joke that is how awesome I am” pretended to leave and came back. To be honest, I had forgotten the punch line while listening to his story and when he finished with it, the place lost it. Love or hate him, you can’t deny the fact he is a master of his craft. His words are way more than just comedy.

Growing up in the South Bronx, I too always wanted to try Stove Top Stuffing, because that's a food product my mother never bought. Those 1980's and 1990's commercials made the stuffing look so delicious. The first time I ever tried some, I was 18 years old and living in Vermont, where I went to culinary school. One of my instructors had one of my classmates and I over to his home, and we ate dinner with him and his family. One of the dishes his wife prepared was Stove Top Stuffing. It was delicious!
