Lmao Obama really did come into the picture all Randy Orton like, outta nowhere. Yet it's like he was meant for it. Barack Obama's name is etched into American history just like that. His name will be popular for generations upon generations.

Chappelle is a profound comedian. Dude's voice does that on purpose I believe. It gives a kind of eery tone but it's still really comedic at the same time. His tone is like when your big brother tells you a secret in the closet and he tells a whole story. Dave has the most thoughtful jokes ever. He's discussing more than just personal issues in his life but real life shit that happens on a macro scale. Dave Chappelle is a God damn national treasure.

It's funny, but I wonder if Dave actually understands that the controversy underneath it has nothing to do with race and everything to do with Patriotism and lack thereof. I recognize that it's just a joke, but I wish I could talk to him about it in person, because that might be his actual opinion on the matter, and I'd like to clear things up. According to statistics and polling, race relations are better than they've ever been. Now, I don't know if that's actually true or not, but, even if it isn't, the nation, it's reputation, and it's history, is under attack now more than it's ever been. There are many ways to protest police brutality in a public way, but, disrespecting the nation that offered you the opportunity to make millions doing something you love, is a pretty poor way to go about it. Patriotism unites us, and disrespecting the nation only divides us further.
@ChristopherCAD5 жыл бұрын
This has absolutely nothing to do with Patriotism. It's has everything to do with Racism which is being disguised as Patriotism...Kap's stance was against racism and police brutality. So why would you have an issue with that stand?
@Phatnaru00025 жыл бұрын
@@ChristopherCAD I don't have an issue with that stance. I have an issue with his chosen method of expressing that stance. Like I said, there are plenty of ways for him to get that message out there, and disrespecting something that represents our nation, as a whole, and is one of the few things that unites us, is a bad way to do so. If I went out and shot an old lady and said it was to fight for LGBT rights, would I then get to say "Why are you opposing me? Are you against LGBT rights?"? Cause that's basically what you're doing, just to a lesser extreme.
@ChristopherCAD5 жыл бұрын
@@Phatnaru0002 WOW so...you are going to compare the peaceful kneeling protest Kap did to you shooting and killing someone? You know what. Some people you can't have a conversation with because of how people like you will change the actual narrative of the protest. Do you know what the meaning of protest iis? So you saying he should protest in a way to make people comfortable? That's interesting. Sad but interesting. If this was about the flag and the troops. I would suggest you go look up the code of conduct for when handling the flag. The NFL disrespects the Flag every Sunday. When the lay the flag across the field is actually disrespectful to the flag. What Kap did wasn't disrespectful at all. But you get to pick and choose
@Phatnaru00025 жыл бұрын
Christopher Davis You missed the point entirely. I even said RIGHT AFTER, that it was a more extreme example. I was trying to make the point simple enough for you to understand. RESPECTING THE NATIONAL ANTHEM HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH PROTESTING POLICE BRUTALITY! And don’t give me that “he wasn’t disrespecting it.” nonsense. He was disrespecting it, AND the country, AND HE ADMITTED IT!
@ChristopherCAD5 жыл бұрын
@@Phatnaru0002 you apparently are missing the point. You comparison shows that. And Kap never admitted that he was disrespecting the national anthem or the flag. Just tell me how he is disrespecting when the idea came from an ARMY GREEN BERET? Like I said. People like you pick and choose when kneeling is disrespectful.
