Was just camping out there a few weeks ago , most might not know this but a large part of the ring of Kerry is in the international Dark Sky Reserve , it’s an area that has little to no artificial light pollution so you can see the night sky as our ancestors seen it , let me tell you it is unreal the stars you can see , I can’t imagine a place closer to heaven

I recently saw an interview with Kurt, where he described playing a gig in Cork, where his family are from. He said he felt he was in a daze walking around the town, and felt in his bones he was home. Very powerful, it reminded me that Ireland belongs to all the Irish American diaspora too ☘️.

I stayed in a caravan in Ventry years back outside Dingle it was just fucking amazing jamming with the guitars in the ventry inn and podie O sheas wow I can’t figure out why I ever left big regret

Nirvana played Ireland numerous times in the early 1990s .. supported Sonic Youth on an Irish tour in 1990 and played 10,000 seater arenas in Dublin and Belfast in 1992 - so this is kind of BS
