DMB friends, … Just a quick note: I do NOT make a single penny from the videos I post of shows that I attend. My goal is to share the music with everyone who could not attend the show that I am at, and thats it. Those ads are placed there by the copyright owners of the music, NOT by me. There is nothing I can do to avoid that. If you do not wish to see the advertisements, I believe you can sign up for youtube premium to be rid of them. Thank you all for tuning in to the channel, and I am truly happy that you enjoy them! ✌🏼❤️DMB -Andy

I would love to meet Dave some day. Not to have some long conversation (which would be amazing). I just want to shake his hand, say thank you, and tell him how much his music changed everything for me.

To be able to watch this concert after over a year has past, I'm brought back to that euphoric awe i had tha night and that sweet goodness. I miss LeRoi's sound, "Mr. Woodwind" and always will. To see the ease, enjoyment, and the delightfufness they express on stage while I lean in to the wave of rhyme and rhythm as it engulfs me. Happiness. I'm grateful.

That setlist could have been plucked out of my mind, I dream of One Sweet World pre 1995 as the opener but I must Enjoy The Best Of What's Around.

There is NOTHING like a DMB concert!! Best live show ever!! Saw them in 2007 with my boyfriend who is now my husband of 10 years. He completely introduced me to DMB. It was a great way to celebrate out 10 year anniversary (5.4.22)

I love that DMB got their start by letting their fans record their shows and then pass around their music. Thirty one years later, they still let it happen... I want to catch the whole Texas Tour next time it happens! I've been to back to back (Woodlands > Dallas), but I want to include Austin!

Thank you @andymendoza! About a week ago, I rediscovered DMB after over 2.5 decades. I've listened to Bartender at Radio City...no joke...like 150+ times in a week. Not sure if they cover that one here and I'm intentionally not looking at your breakdown bc that's part of the appeal for me, though i REALLY appreciate you blocking the timeline for my future digestion. I'm continually FASCINATED by the sound quality on DMB live shows. I lost a lot of time, but this journey is healing my soul! YOU, Sir, are now part of the journey. Thank you for making my world a better place, friend!

Thanks again Andy! We are all SUCH kindred spirits. We took a "Dead Head" to his 1st DMB show, for MY birthday, @Madison Square Garden 11.12.2021. He was BLOWN AWAY! He thought only Dead Heads sang ALL the lyrics & the ABSOLUTE camaraderie he witnessed. It wasn't his last DMB show, to be sure.

Really wish audience didnt sing/talk during the concert. Dave has a phenomenal voice and he leads people to sing along at parts, its just hard to block the talking and background singing out when theyre right next to person recording. Being able to enjoy the sounds of all the instruments blending with Dave’s voice can be truly mesmerizing if you allow it to be. Thanks for sharing ❤️
@AndyMendoza2 жыл бұрын
I understand this point of view from a view point of watching a recording, but asking fans of a band to not sing along at a concert is completely unrealistic. Being there, and dancing and singing with the crowd and Dave in that moment is amazing. A video recording unfortunately just doesn’t capture that euphoria. I have never asked anyone to not sing or to sing lower because I am recording, its all prt of the experience of being in the pit, shoulder to shoulder with fellow fans.

Still trying to get used to Tim doing the lick on Grey Street. The song has definitely evolved overtime, 2000-2007 were still the best versions hands down. Glad they brought back the 3rd verse
@qinghai12 жыл бұрын
They need to take the electric out of Tim’s hands and put an acoustic back in its place. Some people just don’t understand how to solo. His performance on radio music is astonishing but he needs to stop trying to shred over songs like #41 or two step. He constantly plays in the wrong scale and modes. I remember an article I read about how powerful DMBs music was without an electric guitar. Miss those days.
