I have DMB concert tickets in my "panty drawer" that I never got to use....due to covid🙄, they had to cancel 🤦‍♀️😕 I listen to them everyday on KZbin and stumbled on THIS lil nugget. "Singing From The Windows" is the first time I have EVER seen or known Dave to use a Capo. I learned to play guitar in 1994 as a 10yr old, mainly due to my love for Dave's music, and I play pretty much every song he wrote up through Busted Stuff. This is blowing my mind right now. What is happening?!

@@allenkishpaugh9228 stopped following Dave when he got super lame and uncreative. This would’ve been just after Busted Stuff. He snuck a few creative songs into Stand Up and Big Whiskey, but for the most part the fun was over after Busted Stuff. So maybe capos did come in toward the end of his run. Forever, he never used them. This only further helps to support my claim though.

Sure thing. I’m sorry I didn’t before. I’m new to the DMB community but have enough experience with tapers from a different band that I should have done that beforehand. Idk if it makes much difference after the fact, but I did make sure to preserve the quality of your recording. I maintained lossless audio all the way to KZbin. Of course they re-encode it to 128kbps aac, but there’s nothing I can do about that. If you’d like a copy of the video I uploaded I’d be happy to send it to you. It certainly looks and sounds better than KZbin’s highly compressed version.

DMB is good but not worth more than $100 per ticket & even that is a far stretch from their glory days (before the "Everyday" album) when I could see them for 50 bucks total.
