Dave will be remembered and be recognized, for the way he carries a song, so intimately. He's also got this Band, playing his song like they are one. Dave is an awesome band leader, I think of Van Morrisson.

DAVE MATTHEWS BAND MY FAVORITE BAND OF ALL TIME. GOT ME THROUGH CANCER DEPRESSION AND BULLYING LOVE DMB.
@trusso26144 жыл бұрын
Dude, I was reading through comments(obviously 🙄) remember that people are so insecure about themselves, they'll find an easy target like us, and try to make themselves feel better. You beat so much, it shows how strong you are, and thats very intimidating-hold your head up, always, and keep pushing forward. Surround yourself with good people, close friends, and of course ELLEN, and DMB! You can't go wrong. You'd be surprised how many good people you're surrounded with-even strangers peace ✌

This song was release shortly after I had my son, and helped remind me the joy of his new life through the sleepless nights and post partum depression. Thank you DMB for the medicine you make!

@dingaia6 жыл бұрын
He used to be way better when he first started I remembering listening to rare cassette recordings from his first recorded concerts and thinking how raw and wild his voice was. He would pitch super high then super low in the same breathe break out and scream and reign it all in. I would just be blown away. Now he's more settled that range doesn't reach anymore however his song writing is so underrated people forget he's telling a story or a message with everything he does but it's poetry in motion. Plus Carter is drumming like a genius back there making people laugh doing things in the song he doesn't normally do fills and stuff you can see some reactions occasionally if you know the song and know where he changes it. This is why they're so good live is cause this is happening so often play g same song a million times they're gonna screw around. It's great and Carter and Dave are amazing together I just love Tim Reynolds too this whole band is amazing really what am I saying lol
