So incredibly sad to hear of the recent passing (for real this time) of Rodriguez. My thoughts and much love to his family. Like Dave I grew up in SA and was a big Rodriguez fan. Such an amazing story but so thankful that the man finally received the recognition and applause that his talent so richly deserved.

Cool version of Sugar Man. It's the first time I've heard someone cover a Rodriguez song. Rodriguez is still as down to earth and humble as he was 35 years ago. A poet genius up there with the likes of Bob Dylan. He's been floating my boat for about 35 years. Way cool.

You will never know, this musician was god in Africa, long before he was discovered back in his home country. What the world does not want to acknowledge is this, he was listened to by Apartheid soldiers. Apartheid soldiers loved his rebel music. Just like Vietnam vets enjoyed rebel music.
