It fills my heart watching people hear or discover this for the first time. 30 years they have been my favorite band. 29 years since my first concert.

I was at this show, it was spellbinding, and if this is your first introduction to the greatness that is Dave Matthews and the Dave Matthews Band you couldn’t have picked a better representation of he and Tim’s acoustic genius. I implore you to listen to the entire album, specifically “So Damn Lucky”, the intricate depth of “Lie in Our Graves” and my personal favorite “#41”…a song that changed my life.

The whole album really is amazing. Some of my favorites include Crush, Don't drink the water, gravedigger, and The Maker.

I have the blu-ray of this performance and watch it like once a year. It’s incredibly moving watching it on a t.v. I can’t imagine what it must have been like to be there. Love Tim’s long solo in “Lie in our graves”. Makes me emotional every time.

I enjoyed this reaction - I have been addicted to DMB for many years now and the Live performances are so so powerful, creative and can really touch deeply - so many times their performances have drawn tears from me just for the pure enjoyment - life is great when we have so many artists to bring beauty & color to our world

TThis whole concert is fantastic and available on their youtube page. The is a much larger band also. Try 'Dave Matthews Band, Ants Marching' Piedmont park live. Or DMB 'Jimi Thing' Live new york. Their whole and is just amazing talented. And Live, live, live, their live stuff is always amazing. If you look there is a live performance their band and the band the Flecktones perform one of their big songs called '41', and with all the solos and riffs just that song goes on 30+ minutes. There is an actor that looks similar to Dave, Jeremy Piven.

This performance put Dave and Tim on the very top shelf. Dave is an incredibly skilled guitar player and singer. But his ability to write music to the stories and poetry he puts into words is from genius.

Tim and Dave are part of Dave Matthews Band, which is a rock band, but sometimes just the two of them play acoustically together. This album is wonderful! I encourage you to watch the whole thing!

@@davidanderson6055he is. He's been kind of a "part time" addition for a bit over a decade. He doesn't always tour with them. When he does, he doesn't make every concert. But he's basically part of the band. I believe the most updated band photos even include him.

The movie you are thinking of is Just Go With It with Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston. These two in the video are band mates in The Dave Matthew’s Band but they also do this more acoustic shows with just the two of them.

I like how he's asking to drink the wine that resurrected Christ, but currently the wine is drinking him that was involved with Judas' suicide. Its unclear to me if its a souless love for money, alcoholism itself (which was a problem for him) or some other thing. But the lyrics are very deep. He just quietly sings "Watch the Light"
