Doesn't matter how many times I hear it...CHILLS! Near the end of the tremolo 5:31 you see Tim look over with a smile and continue, you can read Daves lips he says "thank you" smiles and shakes his head cause he knows Tim just did some unbelievable home cookin' that anyone would enjoy

Bought this album my freshman year of college and listening to it always takes me back to that very important and memorable year in my life. I honestly feel this whole show is one of the greatest live performances ever captured. Their guitars sound incredible, and Dave's vocals are in absolute top form. Many emotions brought out by this, all of which I lovingly embrace. Thanks fellas.

Dave wasn't saying "thank you". he's still playing the same 2 chord progressions that he was playing the solo part. What he is saying is "That's new", which is both hilarious and accurate for a Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds concert because a lot of the stuff Tim does is being made up on the spot. Dave was commenting on how Tim had never done that before.
