I haven't run into him yet, but he lives right here in Franklin, Tennessee .. just south outside of Nashville. Would love to run into him just to say "hey" and hope things are going well for him and his family. He seems like a really good guy.

Dave Mustaine is the only musician left on my bucket list that I have not met yet. I have so much respect for everything that he has accomplished in his career and his life. Most people would have gave up on some of the things that Dave has overcome in his life. The number 1 thing that I have always loved about Dave is that he has never been a quitter ever. Megadeth has been one of my all time favorite bands for over thirty years and I am most definitely a bigger fan now than ever before. I love the majority of Megadeth's catalog such as Killing Is My Business And Business Is Good, Peace Sells But Who's Buying, So Far, So Good, So What, Rust In Peace, Countdown To Extinction, United Abominations, Endgame, and Dystopia are all MASTERPIECES to me. I do love the rest of their catalog alot also. I am really looking forward to their next studio album and hopefully it will be out this year.

around 5:45 Dave explains what makes Megadeth stand out from the rest and why they are my favorite metal band. They have actual groove and rhythm like a jazz band, and most of the guitar solos are based on more exotic and jazzy scales than all blinding pentatonic stuff. The whole Peace Sells album grooves harder than some funk albums, despite it being thrash metal! Pantera is one of the few bands that have the same emphasis on groove but they came afterwards.
@jesusisking1-v6v2 жыл бұрын
