Nice review. I am a huge Star Wars fan but I refuse to watch another movie that rewrites history. The Dark Force Rising Saga (Operation Skyhook) Clearly shows that the beloved character Kyle Katarn steals the plans not this prepubescent looking female central character. (Reminds you of another bad SW movie that just came out?). The political feminism being jammed down ones throat AGAIN. The whole laziness of saying this is canon and that isn't is B.S. Stick to the stories that have been out for 20 years!!! I'm keeping my $12 bucks and sticking with the Originals! Here is the link that explains how the plans truly were stolen by KYLE KATARN!!! Enjoy: starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Operation_Skyhook

JediG16 interesting! I'm not a big Star Wars fan at all and have little to no knowledge of the expanded universe outside the canon films, so I didn't realise there was already an alternate story to the retrieval of the Death Star plans. I can see why they didn't use that story (not being able to use the main characters again today without de-aging every one of them for the entire film), but I think for the casual viewers and film-only watchers they feel they can make new stories justifiably. Oh well! Anyway thanks for the feedback!

Yeah, my apartment looks like a Star Wars museum.lol. I just hate when the powers that be go and change the stories and even backstories to the characters when they have already been told for over 20 years. Think about this for a second...I am going to make a Superman movie and I am going to make Superman an Asian Female from the planet Pluto (And then tell you the stories that you have known for 78 years NEVER EXISTED!!!!)...Now, if you have never seen a previous movie, read ANY comics or books, you wouldn't know any better and you would embrace that movie. HOWEVER, for the millions that know and UNDERSTAND the true backstory of Superman, they would be just as pissed off as I am. And that is why "Ignorance is bliss". If you don't know any better, you are more likely to accept the deviation from the true story. That was my point. Anyways, thanks for the chat and the review!
