Hi Dave, Been watching your channel for many months now been iracing for about 8 months or so and finally got my first win today, I was in second split and although I was not the fastest guy out there I learnt a valuable lesson consistency and making little or no mistakes often get you good result which was proved today. Got a profile rig for Xmas and it has made then world of difference. Have you ever considered Trackmania? Sure, it's not iRacing, but it is the most competitive racing game there is just due to the game's history. You can play it with a wheel I know an Aussie that does :)

give lmu a go.. it has by far the best contact model of any sim.. it might even be more forgiving than irl.. got rear ended last night and instead of getting punted i just got a minor shunt.. you can slam doors with no issue other than incident points.. allows for much closer racing with confidence

At 68 yrs old I just started ordering and acquiring parts. for a Simagic 23 NM based extruded Alum rig. This should be interesting and possibly fatal for those around me. Edit: Lewis just Verstappened you by coming in hot on the inside and using your car to help hold himself on his line.

Having that experience on VIR right now lol. I am a rookie but have outperformed my level on a few other tracks.. putting me against folks one to two seconds faster then me on that track lol. My god... that Matt Caruana guy is a 7.1k iRating driver with 1.0 B License... dude should be downright ashamed, ZERO racecraft or sense. Just FYI I think you're excellent however I unsubscribed to your channel and will not like any further videos because of the members junk that's being pushed on some of your videos and same goes for other KZbin creators.
