You need every nation "alive" for the Imperial Conference, plus the biggest pain is this part of the focus "Without autonomy, the British Raj will not accept any proposals for Imperial Federation." I did the conference over 4 times after i realised that i need another focus (Indian Autonomy) to ensure that every nation loves my proposals. Once that focus is done, the conference is easy. Opinion boost is a big help to ensure the success.

Well i did this achi with kings party . But its wierd, that they just broke free with some events. The india autonomy give them 1 or 2 free level towards autonomy i think. But i remember that when i did this one, i went crazy and land leased every one of them to compensate the autonomy gain via focus.

@@DaveFeedBackGaming I know it's late and you probably know already, but you need to produce a shit ton of forces, go for Focus "Move to Secure Dominions" then put them in every Dominion to prevent them to break free. You have decisions to lower their AI for breaking free and then you can do Imperial Federation ( Empire ) as Mosley.

​@@DaveFeedBackGaming I know I'm a year late, but there's a number of decisions you need to make called "Foment Uprising in " which causes Can, Aus, NZ, and SA to go into a civil war. Once the civil war is over (you need to help them otherwise they fail) you gain all the states as a puppet which shouldn't leave. After this you need to go through the process of the Imperial Federation. When you reclaim the jewels (Raj etc) however, do NOT puppet them, instead just annex them since the Imperial Federation focus only looks for existing countries. When you start doing the Imperial Federation decisions, you need to have 100 approval with all states, so improve relations with all of them while going through the decisions (Canada will hate you more than the improve relation can save, so lend lease and stuff to make them buddies). That SHOULD work. I don't know if this was a bug that has since been fixed, but I never had this issue when I ran through it following the guide.

Assuming they haven’t fixed/changed this, If you declare war on the puppets and dominions of the UK during the civil war, you get all of the land in the peace deal and can bypass all the Imperial Federation focuses, completing it essentially as soon as the civil war ends since you got to bypass the autonomy and development focuses because you annexed the land and the autonomy system no longer applies.

I have never once had the enemy AI act anything like it does in these videos, they always have the frontline solidified before cavalry can take any victory points and even if they get there, they're always cut off from supply and they deploy troops right in place to lock them off and kill them

This exploit existed till patch 1.9.0. It was fixed after that. If you really want to do the same thing he did revert to 1.8.2 or older versions. If you want to do it using the new mechanics in la resistance then go king's party and then imperial federation.

The Imperial Conference event mentioned that India needs to either be given autonomy or the other focus to agree with the conference, that may be why you failed the achievement.

there is a pretty easy way to get the Imperial Federation Achievement (normally mid 38 is when i ave completed the Focus) notes below: build port and infrastructure in Labrador up to level 7 for invasion (state in Canada the UK owns) after that build civs or mills where ever 1 man army xp, make 20 width horse(with supp art) and a new division with 1 inf (should be 45 xp) factories build 4 art, 1 supp equ., rest guns. ships u wont use go nuts (i normally build subs cause they are cheap) research what eves u want not needed for achievement do focuses in this order A Change in Course Reinforce the Empire Service overseas Encourage Colonial Elite Commonwealth Ties should be Nov 11 36, (note: as u finish the last focus the dominion will break with the crown, the Focus will be finished) you can do Limited Rearmament if you want but i Recommend not doing a focus until the wedding is done(normally Dec 30 36) After wedding do: The King's Party God save The King Appeal to imperial Loyalist Bring Dominion Back into the Fold After you get the army xp u need for the horse division, make 46 of the 1 inf divisions, rush them out early convert to horses send 24 to Canada, send 5 to do a naval invasion of New Zealand (i land on Auckland) send 5 to do a naval invasion of Australia (i land on Brisbane) send the rest to the south African front you want to attack/send all 4 groups Declare on south Africa. If any of the other countries don't join u can declare on them also, but normally they all join after a day or 2 set the 24 in Canada to aggressive (I normally spend pp on army speed guy) you should run through them with no problem, i normally send only subs to help with naval invasions, make sure to rebase them on those islands you control to the north east of New Zealand before you beat Canada, make sure you have fought the other countries, you may need to take land, but i have landed on those locations 5/5 times i have tried to min/max this In the peace conference take all states from Canada, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand. after a day, you should bypass all the focuses up to the Imperial Federation) finish the focus. I have done this 5 times (2 on historical AI, 3 without historical AI turned on) and have finished the imperial federation in 1938 all 5 times. NOTE: I am not great at this game, not claiming to be. I am sure there are ways to make this better, but this is the way i did it. :p have a good day and support Dave

The Imperial Conference is easy to complete. It auto-completed for me because I had the commonwealth countries annexed. You only need a single subject for reinforcing the empire.

Heres something you might want to try: start by doing a change of course then organise the blackshirts, once those are done just sit on the pp till your at about 800 or so. to switch to mosley, do anti commi raids as soon as its possible and wait till the support for him is at 30% then do the desision that reduces the chance of a very bad march and do the London march. you must ensure the civil war does not start so have your stability at 100% so it can take the -44% from the march. should be above 50% support so you can switch by decsion. once switched do the move to secure the dominons. This focus is where you need the pp, you can keep all the dominions with you and turn them. you'll need 76 standard infantry divisions with full manpower, equipment doesn't mater, to scatter over the dominions to complete the decisions the focus gives. to make sure you have the manpower you can drain your manpower pool then, swich your garrisons to martial law, drain your manpower pool to 0 by quing up divisions to train then asking india for garrison support. you can then switch the garrisons to none then back to civil autonomy and it will use indian manpower. should free up enough for the 76, if not, disband the planes. Have the divisions in place to start the decisions, note where they need to be before the focus finishes so you can do them asap. you should force deploy the divisions asap to move em where they need to be they will get equipment when its made. while the martial law is active in the dominions, do god save the king, then consolidate the British Isles. most of the dominions will have flipped by then freeing up the troops. have about 24 divisions converge on the UK to take out Ireland once the focus is done. When the dominions flip it will bypass the other 4 focuses for india and the dominions allowing unite the anglosphere right after consolidate the British isles. so the rest of the troops, including requesting the units from your puppets, have on the Canadian-american border. you should have about 120 units, 5 full army groups, at this point you will stomp the US as they will have half that, being the games only been runing less than 2 years. all i built was infrastructure in the uk. set my production to 1 support equipment, 1 artillery, the rest guns, finish the ships the in the que and build convoys. You don't need to worry about your navy, just do the auto split and put them dotted around the bahamas on strikeforce up the east coast to Canada. your air, use what you got i din't build any planes while attacking the US. now after that, the imperial conference should be a cake walk but i did the prevent a continental hegemony path to puppet Spain and then Germany while allied to Italy using the same troops that were in the US. all puppets by june 39. still building infrastructure, not a single factory built.

Instead of going for general rearmament before the civil war starts, I found it better to have no national focus for the pp. You then can get that 15% movement speed guy for when the civil war starts for an even faster civil war.

Couple of things from my run I did a while ago- 1. Keep in mind that when you do the focuses that allow you to declare war and reclaim your subjects, you gain claims on their territory. For most of the nations, that's not too much of a problem- they don't have a ton of territory, so the negative opinion from it isn't too bad. Boosting relations and lend leasing some equipment to get to a decent positive opinion isn't too hard. India however... It's a massive problem- tons of provinces, ALL claimed and disputed by you. This is the source of a massive amount of negative opinion, which you will HAVE TO DEAL WITH, OR YOU WILL NOT GET THEM TO AGREE. 2. Because of this, use the options in the conference that involve the most political power- it helps the most. HOWEVER, YOU MUST PROMISE THE INDIANS AUTONOMY OR THEY WILL NOT ACCEPT NO MATER WHAT YOU DO! There is a set of two focuses- one releases them after 1943, the other promises them autonomy so you can do the Imperial Conference focus. 3. In order to combat the severely negative opinion of India, do the following: -Boost relations PRIOR TO STARTING IMPERIAL CONFERENCE. Then, keep renewing it to keep the boost up while you do the conferences. -LEND LEASE ALL OF THE THINGS. It helps if prior to the conference start you are lend leasing things, I recommend giving them tons of convoys so they can actually accept stuff. The more stuff you give them, the more positive relations you gain. Keep lend leasing through the conference. 4. Pray. This is all RNG to a certain extent, so BEFORE YOU DO THE CONFERENCE, GO INTO YOUR GAME FILES AND COPY THE SAVE INTO ANOTHER FOLDER. You will thank me profusely if you do it and you fails, as you can always go back and try again. It is recommended you do the save at least 1-2 months before you start the conference, in case you have to tweak things.

@@onefastsled You can manually copy and paste files from the saves folder. Takes some work, and you have to pause the game near an auto save, but it can be done (and I have done it, many times during that run)

I tried this and immediately got destroyed in the civil war. I did everything exactly as you did and they immediately surrounded me with better divisions and destroyed me. Please upload the full recording or something as well, as all of a sudden in the video you're like and now we got fighters or whatever and I hadn't researched it.

Watching this, just today I got puppetmaster achievement with Canada, so yeah, take that! I've also nuked the rest of the world but north america. Surprisingly the most difficult enemy was none of the major, even after a strong setback in China VS Japan, the hardest enemy was Peru.... to which I lost my strongest army in naval invasion but also my marines, got them in the end with nuking to oblivion. Next, will work on that NWO achoevement the way you did in this one, well done, thanks for this publication.
