Good evening Dave. I had a very similar experience myself . It was found by a fellow panelbeater , we really didn't get on, but he fancied my lady something rotten and personnally delivered the wallet to my front door in the hope of my wife answering ....no chance ! But l had £200 in it so gave him £50 . Back then it was 2 weeks wages !! A few years later my own business went bankrupt and we were brassic and everypenny counted . I had a dental appointment and after my treatment l went to a shop to buy some Golden Virginia . I had 2x £20 notes in my pocket and unknowingly pulled both out of my pocket and one dropped on the floor . I left the shop , put my hand in my pocket and immediately knew l'd dropped it in the shop . So l dashed back , 20 yards , and looked on the floor . No trace ! I asked the cashier ....you can guess the answer . 45 years later l still grimace at the loss ! Cheers Dave !

John, Things like that stick with you for sure. I wanted to do the same for the person that handed in my wallet but we don‘t know who it was so I will make a donation at a charity and hopefully it will come full circle I have done something similar before with a young person sleeping rough in London and it‘s a great feeling. Talking about honesty. We were driving behind a car pulling a trailer a few months ago, the road is a straight shot with not alot around. One of the bins buggered off the trailer infront of us. Immediately pulled over and started picking everything up in the road. The tote it was in was too big to load into the Opel so stuffed everything in there in the boot, which was motorcycle gear. Managed to eventually catch back up to them and handed the gear back to them. Really glad we managed to get that done.

Me and my fiance was discussing the new jag ad and was astonished to see how a great company like that has gone so far backwards, and they made the great e-type, I adore it. Great news on having your wallet returned, honesty is always a great thing and is what is sorely missing alot in today's time and age.

Fantastic....I've found a few cell phones and got them back to their owners. I believe there are a large number of good people out there.......tHanks for the video. The cars are nice, but after a while it is just as much about the person behind the cars.

Actually....a nice couple seeing you diving into the bins would jump to the conclusion that you were one of those car builders types. Those sad fellows pour all their money into their cars.......as if they are cursed. If life would only allow them to catch a break, get into gambling, you know...something cheaper.
