Amazing vlog Dave! I really enjoyed watching this from Sydney, Australia 🇦🇺. I am a proud Sudanese 🇸🇩 and Eritrean 🇪🇷 citizen. I have lived in Sahafa, Khartoum for 16 years. Sudanese people are indeed very lovely and welcoming!! I strongly recommend that you visit Eritrea 🇪🇷 and I hope nothing but peace for my fellow Sudanese brothers and sisters 🇸🇩. BTW $24,000 Sudanese Pounds is a lot for just one meal, a lot has changed since I’ve left the country in 2013…wow!!!!

I lived in Sudan for 2years and half and I must say that it is really hot. It only gets cold during Dec-late Feb. Try riding a boat on the Nile River in the evening and try their coffee with spices. @@lovinlife6850 Ethiopia airlines was worst under TPLF TIGRIAN terrorist rule. In 2013 I flew with Ethiopian airlines from London to Addis Ababa/FINFINNE the interior of the plane was worn out, the food was home made by someone who didn't know how to cook, there was no TV screens nor any intertainment, they offer you coffee every 30 second which I can't stand, I don't know who told them coffee is good!! There was one white south African girl who was using the airliner the as a connection she started CRYING as soon as she got in. The plane and saying her boyfriend book it for her with disappointment. @@DaveMani If you would've visited during the winter, you would have had a better time. Also Khartoum, in my opinion, is the most boring part of Sudan. The rural areas are better for an experience (North Sudan, the Red Sea, Kordofan). But I'm glad you enjoyed your stay❤️❤️

About the theme park... It's called child city(مدينة الطفل) and it's been closed down for years due to incidents proving this theme park is a serious death risk ...and the octopus is creeping me out everyday as I work 1 block away from this wretched place Note: if you don't know your way around, a few locals, myself included, will be happy to show you around

Sudan my country, the country that never was. Sad to see what it turned into. -The heat in Sudan in unbearable for most of the year. -Prices are through the roof. -Generally very kind people but due to soo many stresses in life not as friendly these days. -Security these days isn't the best, more crime in the capital than I can ever remember -Overall, pains me to say this, but Sudan seems like a failed state, a country with much potential run into the ground.
