It must be nice to travel across africa with no problem as a white man and face no racism. Could you imagine what would happen to an African traveling across Canada or Europe, you know the answer. By the way not all countries in Africa has garbage all over the streets, some of them are among the cleanest in the world

Hi, I cannot explain how it is a great feeling when you are just watching youtube videos randomly, and suddenly you saw a video about your home country Sudan and not just that EXACTLY Omdurman market, the place you grew up in it. I lived in suk Omdurman for about 13 years since I was 6, and unfortunately, I got to travel to study. I want to say thank you because you really brought back to me very nice memories, you actually filmed my home street, my school, and the roods I used to play in it which made me cry. THANK you a LOT Dave Mani for this video I hope you come again, and if I were there I will take you to the animal section in the market. I feel so sad you didn't see the colorful birds and the monkeys. There are other WONDERFUL places to see all over Sudan and it is my pleasure to give you information about some of them. All the best and keep doing videos

I sadly had to leave but Sudan is a very safe and friendly country I've ever experienced. Please do visit the souk shabi it's much much better organised and souk markazi in downtown where there is another newer mall then the afra mall u went to and its nicer. And also go to the green yard which just opposite the street from afra mall u would enjoy and try going out at night bcoz that's the time many Sudanese ppl go out coz of the less heat and Khartoum has a night life culture which u will definitely enjoy!

Yes, it’s because bad politicians and the ex president (who was the president for 30 whole years) were so bad they would kill people for money and get all the money to themselves and not to the country, so people had to build the country themselves but it’s really hard considering Sudan is the biggest country in Africa & they don’t get paid thay much because of the ex president. Hope the new president of my country will do something about it ! Because it’s been like that ever since my mom was born :/

That hospitality only extends to foreigners; Sudanese from certain regions were subject to aerial bombardment, artillery barrages and raids by Arab militias that would behead people and burn people alive. Literally 2.5 million people died in South Sudan during the civil wars; and 300k died in Darfur. That's almost 3 million souls that died because the elite of these supposedly kind people just had to steal lands from non-Arab tribes. This kind narrative rings hollow

Happy to see you enjoying your time at my home country, people are very friendly and honest despite the difficulties we face every single day, from the self proclaimed military government. Thanks for honest review overall .

Thanks for sharing your visit to my country, am advising for other coming visters to arrange with any one of local volunteers to guide them bcz khartoum is so big and easly to be lost. There is amazing natural places in south kordufan and blue nile states there are many mountains , rivers, forsets and animal which will make you enjoy more and more with your visit to Sudan. Welcome with all of you from any part of planet.
