My Quilt Tells an Epic Story: 100days100blocks Challenge 2023, A Gorphell's Tail

Greetings All ! In this video I show the process of making my 100days100blocks challenge 2023 with the pattern "Maple and Eucalyptus" by Karen Brown (Just get it done quilts) and Ange (Gnome Angel).

I chose to use this quilt to tell an epic story; each quilt block was posted on my Instagram page with a caption that details the next chapter of the story. The story also unfolds in this video, but the whole story is on my instagram page:

The 100 days challenge makes me think that it would be really fun to do a 365 day challenge where you make one quilt block every day of the year and then put it all together into a quilt. I love the story too! So fun and creative!

It was late last night when I stumbled across this video. It's been a long time since I have laughed so hard at the nine lives of this cat. It was so funny that I'm going to watch it a few more times. I also started binge watching your videos because you and I have the same quilt style. The more the merrier. I appreciate your humor, your quilting style and the fact that you quilt on a domestic machine. I've only get as far as completing the flimsy. I don't have the patience, stamina nor upper body strength to quilt a king size quilt on my little singer. I never liked the cover of the maple and eucalyptus pattern but when I saw your bonkers quilt, I may just make one. I also have been collecting cat fabric thru the years and waiting for the perfect quilt pattern.
