When I was 20 years old I was in a band . We played this song with 3 singers. I loved it ever since. Thanks for reminding me and thanks for the chords. I'm too old to remember what I played back then.

Dave i love your channel im going to enjoy watching it grow and grow. I love the lessons but some of us can't play 8 cords when 2 might do the job how about a condensed version after the real lesson for those of us who don't know all the cords like Mark Knopfler in Money For Nothing. I have been watching your live streams im not much of a technical guy a lot of it is way over my head. Im the guy that picks up a guitar and if it feels like my favorite chair ill sit with it for a while and enjoy its voice i still want you guys to swap licks on the live stream some ive watched all you guys show the guitars and equipment but Dave make them play a little for your less tec followers. Dave you seem like a super talented guy and i heard some of your harmony with the duo stuff i thought it was great. Dave i had a house gig for 12 years straight as a lead singer and rythem guitar every weekend and jam night on weds but i wish i had your knowledge of music in general. Thanks for being straight up and real, that is hard to find these days. You take care of you and your during this cirvasia virus now guitar talk with guitar songs, licks jams whatever. Walk on them Dave if you have to. Thank you brother for your talent and passion. Your faithful follower David

don't be LAZY...LEARN the chords, they're not that hard...this beautiful song, with 1. "two chords", or 2, the WRONG chords, sounds like #$%$#....and would only make you sound/look like an amateur/hack...people would clap for you, while (in their heads) they would be "holding their noses".....

The guy who wrote it was in the band Skylark and they recorded it 1st. New birth is the cover

@@DavesGuitarChannelRight, I'm saying I never knew it was a cover. I never knew of the Skylark version.

Oh ok. Yeah. I think Newbirth was the popular R&B version.
