I wonder if this collaboration had any impact on Phil’s behavior at the time? All the members of Pantera were on this collaboration except Phil. And they called it Pantera. But I was just pointing out the fact that Phil gets a lot of shit for the breakup of Pantera. But what was going on in Phil’s head when the rest of the band members did this DAC collab? Was he invited and declined? Was he already knee deep in Superjoint and Down? Or did this possibly help push him in that direction (along with other issues he had obviously)? Just a perspective I’ve never considered.
