easy. Notice no one shuffled their decks? Cards were stacked in a special order. The cutting and flipping moved the forced card (3 of Hearts) where he wants it for you to "choose" - then when he flipped the cards on stage for the spectator to see one, it paused very briefly on the 3 of hearts (go back and watch) so subliminally he "randomly' saw the 3 of hearts. I've done magic for 40 years. Very easy trick.

@@MikeFarnhamGalaxysEdgeGroup But everyone in the audience cut to a different place in the deck. So how could he force all of them to get to the three of hearts. Plus the audience member chose a random number of cards to remove. Unless you’re saying that person was in on the trick

@@SiriusV21 as someone who has done card magic for most of their life, no one in the audience is in on the trick. Nor are the two people on stage :)

@@mattdaugherty3209Okay I took a deck of cards and I followed along and I think I understand now. The two cuts and flipping of the cards pretty much brings the deck back to its original position. The only thing I don’t understand is when he asks the audience member to choose a number between 1 and 5 and to remove that number of cards. What if the audience member had chosen the number 2 instead. Would he have forced a different card and had another queen already in the deck holding that card as well? So he has five different queens in the deck each holding a different card depending on which number the audience member chose?
