The pose David keeps during the first minute of the video is almost the same than a meditation pose called SEIZA in japanish. I think he was on his knees in an spontaneous way, but this must have been very especial for a japanish audience. His performance is full of happiness, a pleasure to watch. Thank you, Fiorella, for uploading. For so MANY wonderful uploads!

This very nice song was written and produced by David Bowie for Mott the Hoople. Many thanks for comment and watching.

@ferdinandsouz You say that for the pose, or for that joke David made in an interview once? It was something like "i am a monk in the body of a sinner" ha, ha, ha!! Cheers!

@queenofgoblings Yes, I've seen various times David assume the seiza position during the concerts, very relaxing: it's known that he has followed for many years Buddhism (I prefer the lotus position, practicing oriental disciplines learned in India). Maybe also to be closer to his audience... it doesn't seem that Bowie did ever things by chance. My sympathy for your "repartee", ha ha. Thanks for watching!

Yeah .... I play Bowie songs in my studio and create completely thoughtless videos ..... people recon I'm crepe .... I think that's what they said .... they pulled the mains lead out of the wall socket.
