Back in 1972, one rainy winter day, me and my friend were returning home. Then my friend saw a starman. He got so excited that he started singing starman by David Bowie. i will never forget that precious moment of my life.

So an alien travels for thousands of lightyears and finally reaches Earth. This was the longest journey of his kind, he doesn't have enough fuel to return to his family, and he knows he will die alone. His only message : Let the children boogie.

Found this song awhile ago when we watched The Martian for a science class, this song just stuck with my heart and for some reason makes me feel homesick somehow. David Bowie really is amazing, rest in peace

"That weren't no DJ, that was hazy cosmic jive" The arrangement of this song with the out front guitar and rich strings is classic Bowie. I bet they discover spiders on Mars. Here's a tear for you, my Starman "...let all the children boogie"

There was a Starman who came more or less 2000 years ago and died in a cross, suffering the pain that was mine and yours from our sins. He suffered in our place and now we can have peace with God, because He died instead of us. He's name is Jesus, the true Starman
