Amazing to think...he was only 36 years old here, but look at the catalogue of incredible music he had already accumulated..!

I was thrilled to have been at this show, about thirty feet from the front of the stage.

Awesome, I saw very similar show "Serious Moonlight Your" Offenbach Germany in June 1983 when The Let's Dance album was on fire all over the World. Was near the stage as well. Also saw Bowie in LA Dodger Stadium in 91 and The Glass Spider tour At Anaheim Stadium with Frampton on Guitar on that tour Oct 1987.

this is Bowie at his very best!...no gimmicks...the music stands alone!...an excellent archive of a long and prodigious career...people have tried to imitate Mr Bowie but they always fall short....lol..and this recording happens to be the first thing I ever pirated...back when VHS was the medium of the day...1984..LOL

Jack Devitt nice bro. Saw same tour in 1983 at Wellington New Zealand I was 15. My favourite Bowie song back then along with Ashes to Ashes. Now so many songs of his that I love. RIP David Bowie.

Sigh...I was in that audience. The 'opener' for DB was actually Peter Gabriel, doing his "Security" tour. Sorta weird combo but both insanely great shows. Sadly, I'd thought it was a good idea to take a lot of acid before we went down to the dome (giant inflatable dome--first show ever in it, I think). So I found it a bit hard to concentrate on what was probably the most important concert I ever went to. I was a young American...

are you talking BC Place or PNE Coliseum? he did both. and i see rough trade listed as opener for his PNE "video concerts"..... PG and the Tubes was BC Place but it could have been PNE Coliseum too for all i know

This footage was recorded in the Coliseum, the final night of the Serious Moonlight tour. A full length DVD is out on the market. Bowie chose the Coliseum for recording because he had rehearsed the show on that stage for 30 days before the opening night, which was in the BC Place stadium.
