The first Telugu translation was by Rev. Benjamin Schulz who translated parts of Bible in the early part of 18th century. The manuscripts were sent to Germany for printing but were not printed. The main translation into the Telugu language was Lyman Jewett's version of the 1880s.

Like greate missionaries Rev Joseph David served Meignanapuram church Nazareth Tirunelvelly District during the period 1835 to 1922. He born on 18.7.35 in a staunch Hindu well to do family. His ancestral background is to be ascertained and a short biography can be prepared and published for the benefit of villagers to proclaim gospel. If required a book let about genealogy is available with me. A person has to undertake this work for publication in Facebook for all Hindu brethren in India and for future benefit of all.Can it be done

It is strenuous to collect the authentic information about the missionaries, to prepare a short biography and then publish.
