Beautiful tribute to a man we all love and miss... As a young fan in the 70s, little did I suspect at the time that I would be crying years later over David’s passing but it got me to reflect since on my fascination with him; I admired his talent, his charm & loveliness and he just meant so much to me. I also remember the thrill and elation I felt at attending one of his heydays concerts. If you were swept up in Cassidy-mania like I was, how can you forget someone that extraordinary and who made you feel so good? Well you can’t. He truly lit up the world like a beacon and we’ll never see anyone like him again. I know now that David left this world taking a piece of my heart with him forever.

I can't believe it's been a year. It's still so saddening like he just died yesterday. This song makes me want to cry and it's still shocking how fast he died. One day he was admitted to hospital and a couple days later he was gone. I did NOT see that coming! We all were praying and God decided to take him home. Now he's in a place of peace. We miss you David, and I still can't imagine a world without you. With heavy hearts we remember you today. Rest in peace, sweet angel. I ♥️ YOU. We all do.

David gave us so much joy with his talent in everything he did,we loved his breathtaking looks, almost drowning in the beauty of him,there will never be another David Cassidy,he cast his spell over us all those years ago,and we are still under it now. He was such a class act! I'll never forget the concert I saw at The Steel Pier in Atlantic City.(early 70's) More to the point, him getting there. I was standing on the boardwalk hrs before the show. Here comes an ambulance, some girl screams "It's him" out of nowhere come a slew of girls.No name, +hrs before. They rush the amb.(a good 2 miles from the Pier) Climbing, screamingetc. It came to a stop, David sits up waves, sings a bit so incredibly good natured about it.I don't know that I would have been so good natured. That was his private time +he still thought of his fans. That's what really made me a fan. I mean hrs. before!!! That show he wore a white satin jumpsuit trimmed in gold with fringe!Oh my my!! Thank you David for a great exit to my childhood!
