@@lastnamefirst4035 Seriously? You obviously are too young or too dumb to read, much less understand the lyrics of the song. If you had a clue about the Kent State riots, Vietnam, Nixon or how CSN&Y wrote about these subjects you wouldn't post such incredibly STUPID words. How dumb are you? Come on tell me how stupid you are as I really want to understand how a person can breath much less type a coherent sentence with your lack of brain capacity.

I was a nurse who triaged broken, battered, blown up boys back in 1969-72....in Nam....I was a hairs close to being blown up back just before I left there...and came back and spent another 2 years at Great Lakes Naval Hospital, treating young men who had their faces, their arms, legs, half their SKULLS BLOWN OFF by that war...and I was able to welcome back my BROTHERS , my younger brothers who went to that disgusting war called Desert Storm...they came back really REALLY messed up...and, to this day...19 years later...they are still having issues...so my heart reaches out to all our VETERANS...AND THEIR FAMILIES, FRIENDS...EVERYONE...I KNOW what it was like in Vietnam...I STILL HAVE NIGHTMARES AT 68!!! so you thank each and every one of those vets who went anywhere to protect your safety and this country...YOU THANK THEM AND HUG THEM AND HELP THEM...I LOVE MY COUNTRY....BUT I CAN'T STAND THAT ABSOLUTE DISGRACE SITTING ON HIS FAT ORANGE BUTT IN OUR WHITE HOUSE, LYING AND DOING NOTHING BUT BITCHING ABOUT THE STOCK MARKET...AND NOT DOING A DAMN DAMN THING ABOUT THIS CURRENT COVID 19 CRISIS.... VOTE IN NOVEMBER AND CLEAN AND DRAIN THE SWAMP...PUT PEOPLE INTO OFFICE WHO WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU...NOT THEIR BANK ACCOUNTS OR DONERS!!! PLEASE...!!! IT IS A MORAL IMPERATIVE NOW!!! PLEASE!

Wow - reminds me of an acoustic solo gig Dave did in London in the mid 70's - my wife and I had a table just yards away from a very relaxed Crosby who told some anecdotes between songs and treat us all like friends. I met a few rock legends during the 70's, few were so plainly genuine as this man, who retains an enthusiasm for performing and treating us to his still glorious vocals.

Good thought. It does look a bit like him (younger though), but his voice is a lot different. Plus, at the beginning he's likening being able to sing with David to playing catch with Mickey Mantle, suggesting that he's in awe of such a legend. In reality, Browne was more of a contemporary of David's (being only 7yrs younger), gaining similar acclaim around the time David did. So when the guy in this video says he "grew up listening to this music," it can't really be Browne.

Why? Its a song that CSNY have made millions of dollars on. Its like a catchy commercial jingle these days. They should have given some of that money to the kent state victims instead of buying more coke. This song has nothing to so w our country's violence today that ia killing many of our children. This is a bunch of rich people high fiving eachother. Its sickening and so is your idea of making it an anthem
