First things first, I am not an active conservative supporter, however I have to take exception to the interview style of Guru Murthy. Throughout this interview he appeared increasingly part of what's referred to as the liberal elite - his line of questioning was clearly biased and nowhere near as "even handed" as it should be during an election campaign. He was trying his best to court controversy and boost his own celebrity status. I understand that the media needs to be strong, independent and able to hold politicians to account, however to ask "what were you doing on Monday?" with a view to somehow suggest that a minister cannot campaign and stay in touch with his ministerial portfolio suggesting he's "distracted" is totally unacceptable. Well done to David Davis for remaining his usual calm, unflappable self. Think what you like about BREXIT & the conservatives - but I strongly believe that we should all be looking to the future and the National Interest and not our own narrow-minded, short-sighted political brinkmanship.
