This was the first song I ever heard by DG. It was 1999 or 2000, driving my Jetta and listening to college radio. I pulled in the parking lot, late for work but waited for the song to end and then a further 10 mins for the rest of the music so I could get the name of the artist from the DJ- some of you remember those days! Manly O'Beeferton The way i have thought of the afterlife is that the soul in a way trancends into a higher dimension which is why we can't see it with our technology because its higher than us and that technology but in that dimension i imagine that you can see the past present and future all at once... In other words heaven COULD be a fifth dimension that humans can't observe in their three dimensional bodies but something that you have the leave the body to see... But that would also explain ghosts in a way.... They simply live in another dimension that we can't see and sometimes they might try and cross over but they can't talk or interact with us because our three dimensional eyes can't see them

Mourning the death of his father there is some haunting imagery in this song. For me it would have to be the reference of the Raven, Loves a Raven when it flies. They say as the crow flies, and that's in a straight line, keeping that in mind Love flies straight into your heart, whether that love be now, or in passing.
