Thank you all so much for watching! This is my 26th filmed project, and it was a year in planning ever since my friend, Michael, scored a par 4 hole in one at 265 yards last year in North Carolina. Actually, this concept was the main reason why I wanted to get into epoxy resin casting in the first place!
If you haven't heard of Brad from KZbin channels, Brad's Workbench or Rated R Woodturning, you should check him out! (Links to his channel below and in the video end screen.) Brad asked me to try out 2 new finishing compounds he has been working on, one a fine abrasive paste and the other a tung wax finish. Check out the links to his Etsy store, where he sells them!

David, I’m so thrilled and blessed and blown away by this brother that I have no other words but unspeakably awesome man. You are not only a great friend but greatly gifted to do what you do in the context of wood turning. Love and appreciate you and this unspeakably. It is going be unspeakably awesome in my office here at church. Thank You is just insufficient but sincerely, thank you for what you’ve done for me in this work of art. Got it already up on my Facebook page.

@@DavidAdamsen It's amazing what can happen when technology and handcrafts are melged into one, by someone who is *considerably* more than competent at both, and has the eye of a designer, to boot!! Congratulations Michael for the awesome hole-in-one! David, this piece looks wonderful. It took a few turns I didn't expect as it was coming together, but the final product is amazing.

As a life-long woodworker, I offer a suggestion. If you have a band saw, you could make a jig, and cut the corners off…unless you just enjoy turning.

Stunning yet again. I love that you mix different woods for different effects, and that epoxy globe is brilliant. The golf ball reflects just enough light in all directions that it looks like the beacon of a real lighthouse. You are an artist of the highest caliber.

@@DavidAdamsen i dont know what you have to do in post buddy but it sure looks good . but in the end its just a camera . you do a great job of set up and camera changes you get that shot... alot . great job . look i know better then most wood turning videos are hard . making them look good with out cutting them to pieces and making them to long is super hard . great job my friend i have alot to learn from your videos . that go past what the people see . i know you understand .

I've seen some great turning videos but this truly was above par. I greatly enjoyed the anticipation of trying to figure out what it was going to be right to the end. Spectacular work!

The resin shavings behave so differently compared to the wood. I think that would drive me nuts. Look at how it flies!
