This is great that you're doing this! I got a 2 yr degree (associate degree) in network administration recently at uni, and the curriculum was CCNA 200-301. Got excellent grades, 3.89gpa. Someone gave me a 24 port aruba switch, and I realized I didn't know what the hell to do with it. I'd never seen or handled one (I went to school during covid, remote). Thank you, David.

I am a systems engineer but I've delved into networking from time to time throughout my career. Never comsidered the ccna just because it wasn't something i wasn't interested in doing, but David has convinced. I am 42 now whether or not this will help me further it's anyones guess, but i will take this course and go after my CCNA exam.

Good explanations! Connecting two laptops with a twisted pair cable reminds me of when I was a kid, trying to create a fast file transfer system so I wouldn't have to use USB flash drives anymore. I felt like a genius at the time, but I couldn't make it work at the time.

Great video and its great you are doing it with real equipment. Its one thing to get an enterprise network "running" in GNS3 or Packet Tracer but its a whole different ball game when you're in front of that rack for the first time.

I missed the punch card days, but got plenty of time with mylar paper tape and 7-track tapes drives in the Navy. After entering civilian life, my first job had 8" (or was it 10") floppies, 10MB disk packs, 7-track tapes, etc.

Some people prefer to use other learning platforms to learn, thus, having an updated content on Udemy will facilitate their learning by not breaking their rhythm going through the topics.

Does the A Plus or Network Plus must be studied first before understanding CCNA?

It depends on your knowledge. For a lot of people I would advise looking at the CCNA material and if you find it too difficult, having a look at A+ and Network+ or doing the Cisco CCST cert first. There is free training for CCST on Cisco's website and an easier exam, so have a look at that first if you struggle.
