I met up with Will from ‪@Venture2Roam‬ and Rob from ‪@RevereOverland‬ to do some Winter camping and snow wheeling in a snowstorm in Southern Idaho. The trip did not go as planned however. My steering rack froze over on the trail, which forced us to diagnose on the trail and get creative with a solution.

Beautiful video. Great cinematography and story telling. However, your Bronco didn’t fail you. The Icon tie rods come with outer clamps, and their instructions tell you to install them. Of course your boots have to have clamps on BOTH ends. If someone else installed these for you, then they failed. I hope you get it fixed up the right way.

Great to watch and enjoyed your drone footage. Why don’t you invest in winter tires as they would likely have you safely through this with no issue. Up in BC, winter tires are almost a given as they provide traction where all terrains just can’t match a dedicated winter tire compound.
