Yes at least against Buffalo. He has to play against the other teams. He’s in the last year of his contract so he needs to play to prove he’s worth the big money. They need to play Mason. I hate that when a player is in their contract year, Kyle keeps their reps low. Mason deserves better than that. Not only does he deserves to show the league what he can do, it would keep CMC’s reps down.

You don't waste draft picks on kickers, but if you do, they better immediately be the best kicker/punter in the league, and be that player for their entire career. The problem is the better players trying to compensate for the poor performing players. Puni doing his best even though the rest can’t perform. DB’s and Safety’s trying to tackle big bruising runners. Where was the linebackers at the point of attack? Warner can’t do it all himself. The supposed run stopper Campbell was no where to be found. Again the good players trying to cover for others poor performances.

They've drafted Solomon Thomas, Reuben Foster, Mike McGlinchy, Javon Kinlaw, traded three firsts for Trade Lance and lucked into Bosa and Aiyuk (who seems to only care about money at this point). Their track record for acquiring talent early in the draft is simply awful.

At this point the season is done for the most part....even if by the grace of God we make the playoffs we are certainly not going anywhere so why take the chance on losing anyone late in the season like we did Greenlaw last season. Just rest all the starters for the rest of the season and reset for next year. Draft some OL in the early rounds and at least one good DL just to help Bosa a little. I know some will call this giving up but I call it smart for next season. McCaffrey is NOT healed yet I don't care what anyone says. Mason and Guerendo should share carries the rest of the season. Deebo should be traded in my opinion...he is a shade of his former self and if we can get a mid round draft pick for him I say take it. He is not producing. He has never been a great receiver but he was good in the run game but that is not even the case now.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Greenlaw doesn’t play against the Bills. I would not be surprised if he doesn’t play this year. If Trent does play, how effective will he be with his injuries? Will this be the last year for Trent, who is older and will be more susceptible to injuries? It seems the Niners don’t have anyone to replace Brendell, who continues to struggle. The Niners need a center. Will there be a good one available in the draft? I expect the Niners will have the 17th pick in next year draft.
