The title is click bait. You mentioned populated and compared to Lagos but nothing in the video supports that statement. Population census has always being a controversial issue even before independence. With the Obasanjo census tipping Kano state to be more populated than Lagos state. This is also pushed because of resource allocation. The video should just have being titled why to visit kano.

@@DavidNkwa I guessed he doesn't intend to do that. He's not alone. For instance, Bola Ahmad Tinubu is a politician in Lagos, he owns Channels television, which is one, if the not the best channel television in Africa. Why not politicians like him in Kano produce such media platform? We have quite a lot of billionaires in Kano, if few can make a media outlet in Kano, maybe things will begin to be reported as accurately as they are supposed to be, as we can have a wider coverage

In essence, Lagos is the most vibrant city in Nigeria, the commercial hub of the country thanks to the seaport privilege it enjoyed. But it really has even bigger advantages as almost all the media houses is located in that city. So every attention is with lagos and most of the southern states

Just imagine the Amount of Danfo Different types in Lagos and compare it to the types of tricycle in Kano and still there's bus services like BRT commuting 100s of thousands of people daily in Lagos If you ever want to travel from Ikorodu to Aja you have to move way ahead of time if not you're going to miss your appointment 100% I can believe 100% that Kano is super populated but more than Lagos? unless you haven't had to Live in Lagos as a normal person living day to day life in Lagos

The reason why you see Lagos as over populated is because Lagos is the smallest state in Nigeria in terms of Landmass so the state is so small that you can put over 10 of Lagos in Kano

@Tech.Library2 жыл бұрын
Simple reason......imagine a man in the south who marries one wife and staying in a Two bedroom flat with four kids...Now compare that with a Man in the North who marries 3 wife’s and staying in a 5 bedroom flat with 15 children....Then compare a vast mass of land with a small geographical rain forest land logged with water
@amb.39482 жыл бұрын
That's because the North is larger by land mass and more diverse , taraba state alone has 40 languages basically tarabe can be divide into 20 different tribes or ethnic people groups. Also despite them having lot of states niger and borno state are individually larger than the entire south east ,south south region . Logically niger state should not even be one state its to big so the North should have actually had even more sates.
