These onboard stories are so surreal. Used to be oblivious how pro racers actually work and what goes on in their minds. There was TV footage or cars going fast in circles and that was it. Now it all comes to life.

David Perel not now... bit if you grew up racing karts etc who knows. Unfortunately not many kids with the dream to race F1 even get the chance. Not many parents have the time and money. I wanted to race as a pro sense I was 4-5yrs old. I bought a racing kart when I was 10 by mowing lawns but didn’t have the parental support to make it happen. It’s too bad. Now I settle for racing my turbo miata race car a few times a year. Also have a 125cc shifter. And a modified 1299s. I love racing but just too old now to do anything with it. Your outcome is insane but I know you put a lot of effort and money into it initially and also had family support. It’s really awesome to see you do it man👊🍻
