YESSSSSS. David is back, not doing rocket knife. Hey David, if you're reading this, I want you to know something. Thanks for coming back. I felt like when you went all rocket knife all you were going to do was random clickbait stuff. It all good and that doing it every so often, but it got over-saturated. Thanks for coming back. :)

Hi Dave! I was a big fan of your work back in the good flite test days. When you left, FT lost its soul and lost me as a fan. This video is the kind of brilliant work I liked the most about you. I watched it twice and now I plan to convert my Sea Duck with twin reversing blheli-s esc's. You're inspiring!

Flitetest has changed so much since he left. When he was there it was fun. But these days it seems really scripted and forced/faked. I like what they've done for RC . But the channel has gone down hill since Dave left ,after Peter left I just stopped watching

The plane needs a matching beard:) Very good video. I appreciate the tips about the vice, the spray bottle, the waterproofing with grease and liquid tape, the difference in ESC's, and the reversing. Thank you. Also, nice pond.

I would like to see what would happen if you reversed it in midflight. I hope it doesn't push the motor through nose or something horrific.

Very cool tutorial, very interesting tricks and techniques very precious. Better than a bunch of rc magazines ! Wish I had a teacher like you as a young craftboy, information was difficult to find. Nothing like a club if there is one near your house, and if there is good teachers, good vibes.. otherwise videos like this are precious, small tasks not so spectacular but it's like music, step by step that makes a craftman. And you achieve making it without hysteria or death metal background, that's cool to watch, thanks. Hoping to see many more.

Going to have to show this to a nephew my niece "acquired" a few years back, . . . maybe he might decide to "throw over" the Academic Grind at our little cow-town University, and start educating folks via KZbin. (Quicker and cheaper, than the Traditional Way. {When done with Skill and Verve; the way it is done here.})

hi, the part with the fett is very interesting for the gearbox, but for the electronics did u ever try WP100? i think its called wet protect 100 or similar. i put it in my RC Car electronics and went through deep puddles, like drowning it a few times and it worked well :) might me a bit sticky for the gear, so i like the fett ( same as in germany hehe)

corrosionx eventually gums up the servos,I found that out on my Apprentice. Its hard on foam too after a while. The stnk can make the wife complain. Its best to flush the corrosion x out if possible before storing or plan on changing the servo anyways.I did my last pontoon servos on my Apprentice pontoon and the water still got in and killed the rudder servo.
