I’m making this comment because I overheard something last week. Sorry that I’m straying a bit from the topic. Mr. Jake, you and your team have contributed for years to improving DaVinci Resolve. There are rumors that Apple might be considering making an offer. I hope the community can address this because, as a Windows user, I’m concerned that if it happens, they might remove all Windows features.

I don't think this is something we need to worry about. The talks of Apple buying BMD are just a rumor at this point and even if they did I believe they would keep support for Windows.

That example with expressions would be usefull for money values with different countries and languages. For example you could set that switch to switch for different money symbols and position of those symbols. In Canada in english we do the american $100.45 but in QUEBEC (french Canadian) it's 100,45$ When building a macro for dollarvalues you could have a laanguage selection switch that would auto fix the text layout.

Is there an option to change the switch list items from int to float? Maybe that way you could transition between them smoothly with keyframes?

Hi! If you are referring to the corner camera effect I have in my videos I use my WippCam tool from the EditorCollection. If you just need a simple Picture in Picture effect you can use the Inspector controls on the edit page to position it.

Hi, I have a short video that includes people talking together with a song mix. I currently have DAVINCI 18.6. My question is, in version 19.1 is it possible to remove the song and leave only the talking in the video? Thanks

Very incisive tutorial. It's even better when you lose the top & bottom DVR menus to maximize demo space & when you zoom in more on the submenus. It's good to keep in mind most of your audience works on smaller laptops. Thanks.

please Blackmagic community let's go push Blackmagic update shape system inside Davinci Resolve I and many people so want to switch to fusion from After Effects but can't...

@@IndepthResolve maybe one of them was the SVG system... you know, we create .svg vectors from other software then we can animate it inside of fusion. For now fusion only able to display .svg as a bunch of polygon nodes, which is soo messy. and if we gonna change the .svg file from lets say, Affinity Designer/Illustrator, it gonna refreshes automatically.
