@@FlorentCurk When you go into Fusion, you want to copy the Macro Node that you want to save. Then run the script and it should work! :)

Drop the file into fusion doesn't seem to work for me. WippReMacro pop up in the scripts properly but when i press the button it just shows the "Script Not Installed" window with a "Install?" button instead (yes Install with ? at the end). restart doesn't work either.

If you see that you can press the install button even if it has a ?. Since recording the video there are a few minor UI tweaks.

@@JakeWipp what i mean is, it close the window "without installing" the script. I press it > the window closed > I restart davinci just in case > try to copy some node template > go to Work space > Scripts > WippReMacro > then the same "Script Not Installed" window just pop up again.

If using a custom PNG for the thumbnail, and after saving the custom macro, does the original PNG file need to stay in place, or can it be deleted or moved after the custom macro is created?

Good question! After saving the custom macro you can delete the original PNG without messing up the thumbnail!

Hi, I’m new to the video editing world and I wanted to install davinci resolve for the first time so I can start creating projects. Do you recommend installing the 19 beta 2 version (Pros: new features. Cons: possibly unstable at times?) or the 18.6.6 version (Pros: everything is stable Cons: won’t get to use newest beta features)? I can’t decide.

Hey! I pretty much say if you need stability and reliablity, then don't use the beta versions, but if you can handle some crashes and stuff not working occasionally then download the beta for the new features! Hope this helps!

One question - if we save a few of your editor collection presets that we’ve customised to our own branding / preferences using this new tool, what will happen when you release a version update of the editor collection? Will the customised presets we saved all still work? And does the code they were built on get updated automatically when we upgrade to the next version of editor collection, or would we have to re-create them each time we upgrade the editor collection version? Thanks.

Thanks! Great question! If the original templates are updated like in the case of EditorCollection, the custom versions will be unchanged and will still work as normal. To get the new features you will have to re-create the macro again.

Hey! That just means you haven't copied a Macro yet. If you watch the video you will see that I copy the Macro before running the script. Once you do that the error will go away!
