Happy days then. I would of been 8 or 9. I would give anything to go back to those days. Life seemed easier and less stressful then. I loved butlins then.

OMG was that me in the canoe going past the girls in the rowing boat i was there in 79 and would of been 8 or 9 depending when in 79, i spent so much time on that lake pond thing sure looked like how i was dressed at the time.

It feels like what is shown in the film was always predestined to look like it was from a bygone era. But when you were there, in 1979, it was just like life today, you assumed you were living on the cutting edge of modernity.
