Day 105 Kacy DeLong Inner Wisdom Project

Creating with a cause
Kacy is an arts graduate who has used her talents to build awareness and support for the kidney foundation. Kacy's husband is a kidney recipient, and as a result knows first hand the challenges of illness and kidney disease.
Kacy's best friend of 30 years was the donor, and was very active in the donation process. He was determined as he watched his friend get sicker, he pushed to make sure that it was going to happen. Dave was an amazing asset for Kacy and Thomas, a debt that can only be paid in gratitude.
Kacy had time to reflect after Thomas received his transplant. She wanted to help other people. She has started with DeLong Designs in creating pewter gift ware to support the kidney foundation. However this is not the end of Kacy's creativity. She is interested in climate change, and environmental do-goodery into their every day life.
Kacy shares her thoughts on self employment, motherhood, relationships, and living with purpose. Kacy shares her thoughts on feminism, and equality for all. Kacy is passionate about helping to ensure that people feel safe and valued. The balance of power is essential in success. Kacy is hoping that the systems of the past can be changed and we can move forward to create a better community, creating an inclusive environment.
"I stand with them" instead of battle language, a language of advocacy! Kacy shares she is not always right, but the power of analysis and learning to move forward is what she strives to achieve.
