You are certainly not selling this trip to anybody Darren. When I am on holiday after about 5 or 6 days I am actually looking forward to going back home. It sounds like you are building yourself up to the journey back home. Basically it's like a shadow hanging over you that you know is coming so stopping you from actually enjoying the time you have free. I will give you kudos for trying something new but I would also love your truthful feelings on this trip once you are back home and had time to reflect. I suspect the once in a lifetime idea you had has not met too many of your expectations.

Thanks for all the great vlogs you have done on your trip so far. I'm that kind of person that gets bored on the beach, so for me the best thing about Tenerife is the atmosphere, and I love to sit and just watch people go by with something cold in my hand (might as well be a Fanta orange) or go for a walk along the promenade hearing the water hit the beach. As I said before, it's just like a second home being there on holiday for over 20 years (actually 24 years). It can actually be too hot for me there in the summer, so a cloudy day is always welcome. Just to feel the freedom to do what you want, eat some nice meals, take in all the smells, go for a nice trip by car up in the mountains or to Santa Cruz, go shopping, feel like I live there. That's what I want and need in Tenerife, and that gives me energy to keep it going until the next trip 🙂Now it is only (!) 84 days left, and it helps a lot to watch Tenerife vlogs on KZbin in the meantime 🤩

Funny enough many years ago me and my dad stumbled across a bar on a roundabout in Menorca (I think) we had the best tapas I've ever had. Proper traditional, I'm talking beef tongue in a rich tomato sauce ... sounds like eek but I promise you it was like the most beautiful pieces of tender steak. So completely agree don't knock the places that don't sound or fit into the tourist dream/trap lol
