Fellow Hoosier cheering you on! You’ll figure it out. New Hampsha hiker tried to cross a creek and went up to her chest. Water and mud almost to her knees constantly. Tough hiking. She got off. Go check out her story. You got this pal. Stay strong and focused. I’m emotional guy too. I know exactly how it is. Wish I was with you. Next year for me. Blue hat is on the move! 👍

I too was in bogs up to my knees, water knee to waist high, rain day after day after day. Nahamsha and I were only a couple days away from each other through the Whites and beyond. The trail was a complete mess.

Solo! Real mind test. Actually I think solo will be less distraction and you may tune into it all a bit more. I like solo myself. Good to see your new strategy to not force it. Good work

Solo affords you the opportunity of freedom to really hike your own hike. There will be other social encounters -- maybe not the bonded camaraderie you've been enjoying but you began this journey alone and your new friendships helped you through some difficult days. Focus on the positives!
