At the age of 19, I had to have emergency back surgery and had lost the use of my left leg due to nerve damage. Post surgery I could use my leg but it is permanently weak with nerve damage. At 26, I had my second surgery and was told that the next surgery could leave me paralyzed. I knew that I needed a way to strengthen myself but I was always afraid or frustrated at what my body could not do. This has been the first time that I felt the accommodations my body needs are accepted and that I can do this even though it scares me. This has helped my soul (and body) more than I can say and I thank you. You matter and what you do changes people for the better.

I have also had 2 major back surgeries and I appreciate the accommodations so much as well! I also love having the opportunity to chose to do what Adrianne is doing, and feeling accomplished!! I love this so much! I have never committed to doing any type of exercise daily, and this has given me a lot of inner pride. I did want to find out if there is anything you suggest for nerve damage in my arms. I have terrible circulation due to my severe back injuries, so the only thing I am having problems with is when we are doing a new pose for the first time, and it takes a few extra breaths to get the explanation or to watch the demonstration by the time you start the count my arms are completely numb. I hate to give up and stop early, and was wondering if there are any additional accommodations that we can do to help with the numb arms. I love love love this so much and have recommended it to literally anyone who will listen!! Thank you!!!💜

It has taken me longer than 13 days to get here, but I've been enjoying every day so far and can't wait to discover the next 17 days. Thanks Adriene! This is as good as any private class, so I've sent you a donation on your site. Happy to help keep these KZbin videos coming. I encourage others to do the same. Even a buck or two each would show Adriene how much we all appreciate her classes and effort to make these videos for us.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. Words cannot express how grateful I am for you and for sharing this practice with the world. I just happened upon the 30 day yoga challenge, well I guess 13 days ago, and it's been great, but today was exactly what I needed. I've been going through a really hard time and the last few days I've wondered how I'm going to make it through the next few days, let alone weeks and months. This practice was the first time I actually realized I was present in my body and when thoughts about everything happening in my life came in, it wasn't with a sense of overwhelming hopelessness, it was with a sense of "I'll get through it" and then they floated away, leaving me to focus on what I was doing in the moment. Your daily reminders of the intention of our practice is perfect: My intention for the whole 30 days is intentional self-care and when I find myself getting frustrated about not doing something "right" or body image or anything else, I just say that mantra over and over and over again. I'm rambling, but I needed you to know how much I appreciate you.

So I’ve read comments from other users who say they cry during practice. Well, today I had my cry. It’s been a rough time for awhile for me and a few months ago I decided I needed new habits to replace my bad habits. I’ve never been one to exercise or even really care about my body/health, apparently losing 3 special people, who were too young to die makes you reconsider your life choices. I’m still partaking in my bad habits and I hope thru my yoga practice I can feel better about myself so I don’t need those crutches. Thank you so much Adriene, your soothing voice reminds me that I’m on the right track and if I keep challenging myself to get on my mat everyday I will begin to see improvements with my practice, posture and poses as well feeling good about myself. Thank you. ❤️

I'm still struggling with life and decided to find adriene again. I'm trying to find me, the real me. This 30 challenge is giving me something to focus on. I'm not the most enthusiastic person atm but thinking this is something I can throw myself into, use it to work magic in my head and hopefully I'll be bending in half and wrapping me legs round me neck when I'm 90! Hi Adriene! I've signed up on KZbin solely for the purpose of letting you know how much I love your Yoga videos and how unexpectedly you managed to improve my inner and outer existence! I've first started with some little random videos of yours, then got hooked on Yoga Camp and now going through the 30 Days of Yoga challenge. I've been through some extremely difficult years emotionally speaking and there were times when I considered not being part of this world anymore. I somehow pulled through this very deep depression but struggled to find joy in life. Your videos help me so much on this journey of re-discovering myself and the world, I'm taking baby steps to re-learn hope and shed crusty thick layer of cynicism. I recently began doing yoga also in the morning, along with pranayama and meditation. I am excited to see where this journey leads. I think you are an absolute gift to this world and the internetz!

Well, this is weird. No comments here? Maybe it's my computer... Anyway, I just wanted to say, like many, many others before me, thank you. When I was 6 years old my left foot was run over by a car and my achilles tendon was severely damage and had to be reconstructed. I was told I would never have balance on that foot, and that's the way it was, no balance whatsoever in my left foot, until now. Now, 34 years later and after doing your yoga practice for a few weeks, I cannot believe how healthy and strong my foot (and me!) is. This is amazing. My whole body has benefited from your practice but having my left foot back is what astonishes me. Again,. thank you!

Mercedes Cordero hey Mercedes, that's a really inspiring story. First of all I wanna congratulate you! I didn't get one thing, though. Your foot has been steadily recovering all these 34 years, or you mean that it was because of this practice, that there was a drastic improvement?I've been practicing for the last 13 days and I've been loving the positivity it brings to mind throughout the day and the how I'm not tired until it's already night but sometimes I develop a little pain in some parts occasionally and I have had some injury in my scapula which kind of feels funny while doing it. Sometimes I'm wondering weather or not to exert so much. Thanks for reading this through!

Fantastic practice! My Yoga With Adriene-sessions have become sacred to me, as they are often the highlight of my day, during a bit of a rough patch in life, and I am ever so thankful for all the strength and peace of mind they lead me to. Namaste!

I've been a competitive runner since age 12, and I could never even touch my toes. Throughout the past year, I've ran more miles than seconds I spent stretching. A stress fracture forced me to stop running for 6 weeks. Instead of letting the injury be devastating, I decided to use it to improve my running by focusing on stretching and strengthening. I am so happy it brought me to your site! The first few days were extremely difficult. As a runner, your mind must be engaged the entire time, pushing your body to go faster, farther. It has taken practice to "check out" with my mind and focus on breathing. Even as a beginner (beginner is an understatement), I come out of your sessions feeling confident and ready for more, which is more than I can say for any other yoga class I've been to. One day soon maybe I'll even be able to touch my toes thanks to you :) Thank you for doing this!!

I love you too Adriene! Thank you! I skipped yesterday (holiday too busy) and normally that would automatically break any personal habit i form out of shame. But Adriene is so calming and relaxing and unassuming, I didn’t get any perceived shame or guilt or anxiety to keep me away. She really is the best ❤

I can't thank you enough for these 30 days videos, Adrienne. You are such a gift to the world. I love your sense of humour too! Makes me laugh when I'm feeling down. I look forward to my morning yoga practice and it has helped me out of depression. I feel more empowered and more in control, positive and confident. It's hard to explain but i think this practice helps a person get back their physical, mental and spiritual health. Like you said, finding ones self again...finding ones integrity and inner child. You really helped me Adrienne. We love you so much!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤ may you be blessed

I love you too Adriene! this is my second time through 30 days of yoga. The first time through I rarely did yoga and I just wanted a change. Now yoga is such a big part of my life. Whenever I have a bad day my yoga mat (literally) has my back and it is the best way to unwind, and reflect ☺️ thank you for the endless amounts of videos that have the power to transform my day

Thank you so much for this practice. I'm on day 13 and I can already feel the differences yoga is making in my life. I have been under so much stress these past few months and yoga has been a wonderful way to work through that tension. I find myself smiling and relaxed at the start of each video and see each one as a new, exciting challenge. Looking forward to the next 17 days!

And maybe the palms come together and maybe not, NOT, not even close. How do you even do that crazy move? Maybe you wrap your toes around maybe not, NOT, I repeat, not even close. How do you do that crazy move?

Learning to let yoga not be a tool to tone, but a tool to cultivate positivity- Usually I push myself to do what is most challenging or more like a workout. I'm realizing how distorted that idea is. It contradicts the grounding intention of yoga, and man is it a relief to be letting that go. I love finding what feels good and in turn makes me feel good about myself inside and out, rather than doing what I think is best or "right" to look good or be better.
