I see you're locking your brakes pretty often. It's visible pretty well on 4:10 hairpin. Try braking earlier in a straight line, then gradualy let go of the brake as you start steering into the corner. You could also improve your positioning. Turns in rally are waay less scary if you utilize all the road available. Perfect example is on 3:19 where you could have a wider exit out of the corner leaving you better positioned for the approaching hairpin. It's not bad overall, I'm looking forward to the next 15 days of your journey!

The braking tip is definitely a game changer and I am continuing to work on positioning. Thank you so much for watching and providing recommendations! It means a lot

you can try to shift the weight of your car to the opposite side of the turn by steering in the opposite direction just before the turn, so for example if there is a hairpin right, you steer to the left and then immediately to the right. You can also try to play with the brakes a little while steering to the opposite side. hope that helps :) btw I really enjoy your videos, they also help me to see how you drive in some corners were I have difficulties *Edit: if you have a clutch pedal, you can bind the handbrake to this pedal, that way you can also throttle the handbrake

i love to see people try rallye games, so isaw you use a big steering wheel angle, try to put it at 540° it's the standard angle on rally car and do not be scared to use the handbrake with the 4WD, continue you are realy good for only 15 days

for the handbrake i use a button on my steering wheel because i don't have one too

Thank you so much for the tip. I have moved it to 540 degrees and am loving it!

I will try the button. Do you have issues trying to find it when turning the wheel?

2:26? How many degrees are you using? (Steering wheel) Bc it seems that you steer too much to avoid crash😅

I am using 1080 degs. That’s what popped up as recommended for the Fanatec WRC wheel when I googled it. What do you use? Also thanks for watching and commenting
@NotriaTV10 күн бұрын
@@Neilthegarageguy I see.. well 1080° can be more realistc in some way but less competitive I guess.. I'm used to play with 700°~540° well I'm not that expert you know i'm just try to avoid front lockups.. Let's rock ((but not crash on the rocks tho XD)

Okay. I’ve heard some say 900 degs ons good compromise. I’ll try playing with the settings

Is it important to listen to what the instructor is telling us?
@Neilthegarageguy12 күн бұрын
Great question and yes it is. In rally racing, the co-pilot provides the driver with instructions from pacenotes, detailing the route, turns, and obstacles ahead. This guidance helps the driver navigate the course safely and efficiently, maintaining optimal speed and control.
