"Do not expect people who do not know or love God to act like they do.....they don't have access to that perspective." That is something I need to remember. I always thank God for opening my eyes and heart to Him and because I love Him so much I don't understand when others don't. What does it mean to be an Iron Man (Prov 27:17, “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” And the NLT broadens this to both men and women: “…so a friend sharpens a friend”). What does it mean “to sharpen” each other? The Lord wants us to hold each other accountable in confession and humility. Prov 28:13 calls us to confess our sins so that we can receive mercy. Confession and accountability help us have the humility to “fear to do wrong” (Prov 28:14). And the whole point of these Proverbs are to soften us and make us teachable. We need to be both soft and pliable (because there’s no change without confession), and strong as Iron in our commitment to God’s kingdom.

Prov 28:14, "Blessed is the man who always fears the Lord", and "keeps the law" (Prov 29:18). This is my prayer for my family-that we would always fear the Lord and keep His law. 🙏🏽
