Hello yogis, today we use our FeetUp trainers to work on hip flexor, core and leg strength, building these muscles will help you eventually play around in your inversions (headstands, handstands, etc). It will allow you the ability to open into straddles and bring the legs back together with ease, or going into headstand poses like pike using increased core and hip flexor strength to help keep you as stable as a rock.

Hi Candi. really enjoying this week and it's the best set of lessons I have come across! I have had my FeetUp for a few years now and as a yoga teacher find it invaluable! Approaching 66 this month I prefer inverting this way so many thanks again!

I just got this trainer hoping for a miracle. I am so glad I found your class. I am about as flexible as a dead stick and I think this is definitely going to help me get more flexibility. You do an amazing job.

Thank you, I just finished day 2 and really enjoyed it. I can’t even touch my toes without bending my knees at this point, but I’m noticing slight improvements in flexibility each day. I’m becoming more confident with inversions and know that progress will be slow and steady if I keep it as part of my daily routine along with meditation. Thank you for the fabulous videos!

Did Day 1 and here I am for day 2 - that tells you a lot, I really like your videos and the pace and how you are gently teaching me how to use my feetup trainer safely. Just one question - often you say to have your legs at 90degrees to the mat when I think you might mean to have them parallel to the mat, eg when on feetup trainer in pike pose, legs would be upright to be at 90degrees to mat?
