Lord Jesus, I humbly pray for myself, Father Mike, & all the people participating in the Bible-in-Year podcast. I do not know all their needs, but you do, Lord. I offer them to you with confidence that you hear our prayers. May your word take deep root in our hearts & transform our ways of thinking, discerning, and acting. May your grace open our ears to hear & understand and revere & treasure both the Old & the New Testaments which God has prepared for all who desire to enter his kingdom. Please send us your Holy Spirit to give us the Spirit of Knowledge, that we may know God and know ourselves. Give us the grace to approach the Word of God with meekness & humility, & with an eagerness to do everything God desires. Please give me the grace to set aside my intellect and my know-it-all attitude and let your Word speak to my heart and my soul. Help us to be diligent students & faithful disciples of your Word. May our hearts never grow dull & may our ears never tire of listening to your voice. Thank you and praise you for the gift of perseverance and for nourishing us with your word! Amen.

Oh, Father Mike, thank you so much for so many insights. The deeper I learn about the Lord God, the more I understand why He did what He did to bring back His stiff neck, proud, arrogant, disobedient people to Him so many times to the point that He had to use evil people to bring them back to Him. Despite their sinfulness, God still wanted them back, because of His faithfulness to His covenant to Abraham and Moses, Noah and David. God truly loves His chosen people. Great reminders about surrender to God's will and His never ending Kingdom. *_ Proverbs 16:9 is indeed true and brilliant- The human plans but God directs the mind. Thus, it shows that at the end, God's will is done as it is good for us. *_ Jeremiah telling people to surrender to Nebuchadnezzer shows that we oftentimes need to surrender to whatever God wants us to do and where God wants us to be if there's nothing else we can do that improves our situation or harms our safety. *_ Ram with one small horn and one big horn= Medo-Persian Empire. A he-goat that crushes it is the Greek Empire of Alexander the Great… so no empires prevail but God's empire. Thank you Fr Mike and Team Ascension. God bless you and the fellow listeners

So ...here we have a belligerent ram, throwing his weight around, with wonky horns, 🐏but alas a levitating goat arrives on the scene, he had traversed far, probably hangry and thus set about the ram knocking off his horns (yikes) Our furious goat broke his own horn, but all was not lost he grew four! As if that wasn't enough, he sprouted an enormous one that reached the heavens (just showing off in my opinion) he then trampled people, seriously he needs to address his anger issues. 🐐 The bible = never boring👍

I downloaded the app from Ascension press for the Bible in a year plan. When I go for the next day for some odd reason that next day I should be on is not showing up. I am already on day 42 I’m looking for day 43 and it’s not appearing it skips over 243 for some odd reason. But I’m gonna listen today to 42 again I saved it to my list and then hopefully Dave 243 will appear tomorrow.

Words to take away in tonight's reading was God's warning saying..... " Do not listen to the prophets. I did not send them" ( Yes America, do not listen to these False prophets telling you all these good-to-the-ears and-feel-good-to-the-flesh-doctrine " and all the good-to-the-ears prophecies which are not from the Lord). They are from their own Self-interpretation of what they want you to believe .They prophesied False messages , making Christians believe that God is not offended that more than 62 Million babies are being slaughtered.Blessing? False Prophecies!! Another words that made me sympathized with Jeremiah was his near-death experience and his brave response which was basically saying..... " Go ahead, kill me if you want, but I'm here to tell you that everything I've been saying and conveying are from the Lord. He sent me to warn you to turn from your evil ways , because if you don't, he will bring great punishment in this place".Respect for this man's bravery! He was saved by the Princes " the smart people with common sense", who realized that Jeremiah was indeed telling the truth just like the previous prophets Micah and Uriah.Real Prophets prophecies are ALWAYS not good-to-the-hearing of those being reprimanded, because they're used-to hearing/listening what they love to hear, so when the TRUTH finally comes and being told, the messenger becomes the bad guy because their high manly ego are being called out/reprimanded.Nothing is new under the sun. Thank you, father Mike for another night of feeding our souls. You are a great " chef".You feed us pure " solid food" only.Thank you!
