I have yet to learn to sight read and don’t play the violin but I know it’s hard because I rarely hear people who can play it well. Your pitch is on a whole other level! Keep up the good work!

Hey! Got this recommended and it looks like a fun challenge I wanna start learning how to play the voilin but I feel like I'm too late for it.. I know this is not true because Im only 19, but I just cannot dismiss that feeling, yk I saw in your bio that you're an adult beginner, so wanted to ask if you also had such thoughts, and how you dealt with them 😊 (Also as a student, it feels like I have zero time for any hobbies, so that just adds to my list of excuses 🥲)

I should change that... I'm now going to classify myself as an intermediate! 😊 To answer your question... It is never too late to learn, but it really does depend on your goals. If you are very gifted that is one thing. Generally, It is all about what you want. I enjoy learning music. I love playing in my community orchestras. I love my little quartet/chamber groups. I am not looking to be a professional player nor go to music school. I found a teacher that supports me and helps me improve.
