The best thing you can do is BE PREPARED! Then you can help others in time of need. I had a member of my union get forced out of his house due to a fire. I gave him 2 weeks of food and $200 to help him while he was living in a motel after the fire. Couldn't do that if I didn't have supplies ready for an emergency. If everyone would prep, we wouldn't need FEMA!

Nathan Douglas, for real. It's sad people are so "my team is better" and emotionally invested in their own division, that everything is politics to them. If it weren't for politics and the propaganda arm of government (aka msm), our country would be more like these people helping each other on a daily basis, instead of only in times of crisis (manufactured or otherwise). Living out in the middle of nowhere like I do, I know what it is worth to have neighbors who care and are amazing. I am thankful for them for you! So much love man. We got snowed in the first couple weeks after moving here and one of our neighbors a couple miles away drove over here with their tractor and plowed our driveway for us. It was amazing. They wouldn’t let us pay them either. We sent them a huge goodie basket full of yummies. Haha germaphobe. Well animals are way cleaner than people. roadblocks are pretty useful to prevent a hand full of situations. If someone is really a member of the community they can figure out a way in. In our area looters go through your house and steal everything they can when fires break out. Blocked roads from on lookers can be problematic as well.

The fact is most fire blockades do this to help residents but it always backfires because once the residents leave and go get supplies to either protect property or pull equipment and valuables off property they decline until either the fire is out or subsides. What I see is those who are willing to go back in a blockaded fire zone shall be signed in and out for accounting, that's it, it's super easy at the end to be able to account for residents who were traveling within said fire zone. But the problem I see is chain of command typically on the police side changes way too often and they get confused on who is doing good vs going in to loot ect. We see this issue every fire here in AZ that fully involves residences. I see way too many communities that dont have an established fire plan that can be enacted that involves the community to organize and help eachother until the fire command establishes control with the police.

Living in the country #1 rule is always have a firearm! That is the most important thing to own. First you'll need it for protection because cop's are usually non-existent or in my case there is 1 Officer and he only works on Wednesday Lol! And if anything was to happen you can hunt your own food. Also if you have mountain lions, coyotes, wolves they will kill cat's, dog's and other animals. Mountain lions can and will take big game down and if there isn't any because of a fire they'll take chickens or whatever they can find. They've been known to attack people also. So if anything get a pistol but a AR would be a lot better.
